Veterinarian of the Year Award 

In an effort to recognize the many and varied contributions made by local veterinarians, the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association established the Veterinarian of the Year Award in 2006. 

Nominations will be accepted from January 1st through September 30th. The RIVMA Board of Directors will review all applications and select the Award Recipient at the October Board meeting. The award will be presented at the RIVMA Annual Meeting.

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the award:

• Must be a member of the RIVMA in good standing

• Must be of exemplary character and professional ethics

• Must have contributed as an active community participant
