RIVMA Emerging Leader

Applications Due August 1

Veterinarians that are RIVMA and AVMA members, 5-15 years post-graduation, and recent graduates, 0-5 years post-graduation, who are interested in developing their leadership skills are encouraged to apply for the RIVMA's Emerging Leader position.

The RIVMA Emerging Leader will attend the AVMA Veterinary Leadership Conference, January 7-9, 2027. For more information about the VLC, click here.

The AVMA will reimburse airfare/mileage and up to three nights hotel room and tax for the Emerging Leader from each state/constituent association in the HOD. In addition, the Emerging Leader will represent RIVMA at the New England Veterinary Conference (NEVMA) Leadership Meeting in Portland, ME on Thursday, September 24, 2026. For more information about NEVMA, click here.
